Re-Cap -London Calling - The Golden Thread
Hello Monday
One of my resolutions for this year was to stop and reflect on the creative projects I have worked on and celebrate the achievement no matter how big or small. I always rush onto the next thing and don’t stop to reflect. Is that something you do as a creative?
So today I am sharing a recap of all the illustrations I produced for this Years Golden Thread.
Organised by @jehane_ltd
The theme was “London Calling” and I made all 13 pieces about iconic places and symbols associated with London.
Taking part in this challenge helped me grow my illustration practice. I wanted to involve more analogue art work in my illustrations and focus on drawing people again and using different compositions.
I loved using my own personal stories about London in each illustrations. I incorporated my memories of living in London in each piece.
If you haven’t visited London I hope you had a little peek into my prospective of living in London.
Most if these illustrations are now available through my licensing agent Hannah Curtis at Creative Sparrow you contact her here If you an art director interested in using my illustrations for travel books about London or editorial pieces get in touch with her she will be happy to help you.
Have a good week ahead.
P:S: I did celebrate have a slice of Princess Cake a delicious cake made in Sweden. Highly recommend. 😊
