This is week 13 of the Golden Thread year-long drawing challenge themed "London Calling."

Organised by @jehane_ltd

Wow, this challenge went by so fast! I need to look back on all the work I produced for the first theme.

I loved taking part and remembering my old London Life.

This week's prompt is "London Zoo" I never visited London Zoo myself—I only ever saw it from the outside. My son wasn't missing out though, as he made a couple of visits there with his school.

Not many people know about Regent's Canal and the waterways that run through London. One of these waterways goes past the Zoo.

I thought it would make a fun illustration of animals escaping the zoo and going on a canal trip.

Will they return to the zoo? Who knows—they might go on to enjoy some adventures around London.

I can’t wait to see the next theme from Jehane and everyones illustrations.
