Pro tip Tuesday - My current favourite art supplies for illustration

Pro tip illustration art supplies.

It's time for a Pro Tip Tuesday!

Today is more a nerdy art supplies favourite post than tips.

We all like a nosey in other peoples studios swipe to see them in action.

Here are a few of my current seven favourites on in heavy rotation on my desk these days.

  • Gansi Tambi water colours from Japan my favourite paints you can create so many lovely textures with them sheer to opaque

  • Faber Castell water colour markers great for using on the go.

  • Neon colours Lumi water colours I bought them in London at “Choosing Keeping “

  • Guess my favourite colour I love to use.

  • Faber Castell water colour pencils. I love using them for sketching so you can paint over them. Or add textures to painted areas.

  • Clairefontaine mix media paper It is so forgiving especially water colour . No buckling with the paper. Takes markers without coming through.

  • Muji -Tiny hand scissors I love them for collage and no sore hands.

  • Wall paper roller from a DIY store add texture to papers with paint or use to flatten collaged papers.

I hope you enjoyed a little peek in my studio and feel inspired to get the paint out.

I loved to hear about your favourite art supplies you like to work with?
