December 10th - Todays selfcare countdown to Christmas prompt is “Channel your inner elf and Craft some Christmas Decorations”

Another granny story sorry but she was the queen of Christmas. Sadly my grandmother was widowed at 50 years old. So it meant she had to be creative in making money and being thrifty.

She was always finding ways to make extra cash. Maybe this is where I get my entrepreneur gene.

One thing I would do was to help her as a kid making Christmas decorations. We would make little Danish Christmas gnomes and pine cone ladies. She would sell them in a design store opposite my Dad’s office.

Even if your just making decorations for fun with your kids. It creates lovely memories. My mum kept some decoration we made together for years. It was funny seeing these wonky decorations when I was older.
