Positive lessons 100 day project..

Hello so it feels really strange not taking part in the 100 day project. I have been journalling my experience. I will try and write a lengthy post in the future. While journalling I realised  I had set out creative goals for myself  but  the process has also ended up being a mental reset and new creative routine.

Something I have been really lacking since my move to Sweden over a year ago.

Now the dust has settled and feeling more at home here. A routine was needed. With a 10 week school summer holiday looming: I had to work out a way to get work done. So I get up at 5 am which is easy in the  Swedish summer. I would create my 100 day image.  I started to meditate again and added this to my 100 day project practice.  Now it's just instinct to do this and I use my phone less to switching off at night and not opening until my morning routine is complete. During the summer holiday I can work for about four hours until my son Rocket awakes. He is growing a lot just now as he wakes up late morning.

Meditating really has had a positive impact on my creative work. I start a piece of art work clear headed and less negative rubbish bouncing around my  my head.  I have to say my experience is not  always like my illustration above all  butterflies and flowers. More about thoughts of the laundry mountain that needs attention.
