My new skillshare class

I think we have all learned something new in these challenging times.

Whether it is on a personal level or just wanting try something new as we are distanced from our usual routines.in life.

For me I have been learning Swedish everyday and it is exciting to be able to read and understand what’s going on around me. I can’t say I can speak Swedish very well as Swedes look little confused when I speak to them. At least I can understand what’s being said me.

For me my new learning curve the past two months has been learning to make a Skillshare class.

Lots of things I had to overcome and learn. From finding the confidence to speak in front  of a camera. Learning  to use different filming techniques to editing and actually planning a class.

I haven’t taught art classes since my early 20’s in my old Art school at Edinburgh College of Art.

There were times I felt making this skillshare class was too hard to do . However  I had mentor to help work through the steps. I wish I could have this mentor all the time.

As a premium teacher I can offer you two months free access premium to classes on Skillshare. You can have a go and try something you have always wanted to learn.
Actually this I how I started with Skillshare and I find it such a useful resource for me.

If you are not familiar with Skillshare is an online learning platform with thousands of classes.

Skillshare  don’t just offer creative classes there are  class on coding, gaming ,self-development ,music, writing, and  cooking.

Personally I use many of the classes for tips for running a small business and productivity.

If you're interested in my class. I created a class for beginners curious about the world of surface patterns an illustration you needed to know how to get started.  My class “Making motifs” is a simple class to help you understand the process of making motifs and pattern making.
