Glad Påsk - Swedish Easter.

Wishing you a Happy Easter Swedish style. Or Glad Påsk. So I was curious about  all the coloured feathers appearing  all over the place here in Sweden. The coloured feathers are a symbol for letting the sunshine into your home and sweeping away the winter and welcoming spring. I really think it is a lovely Swedish idea. Many Swedes make  Påskris or Swedish Easter trees. So I made my own Susse Påskris tree today using some of my patterns and characters  as decorations. Twigs from my garden and some feathers I had in a box. Used coloured threads to tie on the feathers and  some bird decorations from Christmas.  It's fun low cost decoration to make for  Easter. Really cheers you up after the long dark winter.
