For over a century, postcards have been the classic way to say 'Hello!' to friends and family – like a text message but more interesting! From its early days as simple printed cards in the late 19th century to today's more artistic and varied expressions, the postcard has remained a significant part of human communication.

My postcard Happy Rain has been accepted for the show.

Artists were asked to create analogue A5 postcards in any medium. I chose to translate some digital illustrations into analogue illustrations.

I did find it challenging to work in an analogue way as I have worked digitally for so many years now.

No zoom, erase or filters, just straightforward gouache, water colours, coloured pencils, and a regular eraser.
