It's time for a Pro Tip Tuesday!

Here’s a tip for some creative, analog idea-making.

Are you into the scrapbooking trend right now? I was recently inspired by a couple of YouTube videos about scrapbooking.

In an attempt to stop the endless phone scrolling, I’ve been exploring all sorts of ways to avoid reaching for my phone at night. I sew, I read, and I love a good potter around the house, but I’m really getting into scrapbooking now. It takes me back to my art college days, when I’d piece together a bunch of ideas with magazine clippings.

I really love using @readly app, especially since printed magazines are so expensive here in Sweden.

I have so many screenshots on my phone but I find I don’t look at them after a while. Adding them to a scrapbooking helps realise my ideas and why I liked the image. The use of colour or vibe.

I find myself using my scrapbook as a giant mood board book.

I think it’s a great alternative to relying solely on Pinterest and reusing the same imagery that many other creatives might draw from.

Swipe to see an example—a bit of a crazy page, but I love the colours of the Miu Miu new winter collection and anything vintage. I love that vintage-modern vibe.

For me scrapbooking is a fun way to develop my ideas.

Do you scrapbook or fancy having a go at this?
