DAY 12 THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Today's theme for Jehane's twelve days of Christmas is the night before Christmas.

Traditionally, when I was a child, we would put up the Christmas tree and decorate it on the 23rd of December. Technically, this is the night before Christmas Eve or Christmas night in Scandinavia. So here is the Susse gang of forest folk getting excited about preparing the Christmas tree for the big day.

This is my last illustration. I had so much fun taking part in this challenge. It is so exciting to see how other artists interpret the prompts.
