My working from Home 5 Things Survival l kit

Susse Collection_wfh Survival kit.jpg

It is Monday again although the days are really blurring in to each other. I thought I would share the things that help me work from home. I have worked from home for a long time. Just now the house is busy. I am not use to all this activity in the house . My day is exciting if I see a bird flying pass the window or the odd walker going to the forest for a walk.

Here are things I use even of the house is empty to keep me focused on my work.

Post it notes: Are my friend. I use todist app to plan out my week and month of things I need to get done. On the day, I choose three important things I need to get done. I use to write a very long to do lists . Not possible and deflating. So if you get three things done in a day high five to you.

Good cup of Coffee: Nothing starts in Susse’s brain until l that first coffee is drunk. I love to start my work day making coffee taking it to my desk to start working.

Good playlist: Popping my headphones blocks everything out. It blocks out my mind too as it can spiral into negative thoughts and keeps me feeling positive. when the headphone go on the work starts. I just really get in the flow of work especially creative work. I have playlist I listen to over and over again. It queues my brain to start working.

Aroma therapy: I love having some nice oils and aromas when I work. I use Orange oil in the dark winter morning to energise me and feel positive. Lavender and eucalyptus has a fresh relaxing sent and makes me feel focused.

Ipad : Having an Ipad now is a game changer as I can move to any part of the house. So when my husband has a teams meeting. I can leave the room. If I have to supervise Rocket’s school work I can sit by him and keep him company. Change of scene is always great when working from home. It makes you crazy being in the same room all day. I no I can work in the garden .

Just thought I would share my working from home survival kit .

Do you have any tips to share from working from home? How are you coping working at home with a full house?
