Mid Century Magic-Jehane's Twelve days of Christmas

First of December already.
Here is my first illustration for #JehanestwelvedaysofChristmas. Todays prompt was Mid Century Magic. It is a design aesthetic I really love. So many wonderful kitsch references to inspire you. Like tinsel trees and colourful decorations. It must have felt magical to decorate you home for Christmas after the frugal years of the 1940's.
I grew up in a Danish Christmas home so we always had the classic natural decorations in white, green ,red and real candles on the tree. A bit dicy
dancing around the tree with real flames on a dried out pine tree but it did look beautiful.
