Illustratörs Centrum Vykorts Pop Up Exhibition

Just a little reminder if you live in Gothenburgh.

I'm participating in @illustratorcentrum postcard pop-up at Formcenter Väst in Gothenburg on June 14–16!

But a diversity of style and technique makes the Illustrators Center's members experimental interpretations of what a postcard can be. A shopping list? Instructions for performance art? A map that leads to a hidden treasure? A sprite doll? A tactile surface? The theme of the postcard popup had been open to interpretation.

For over a century, postcards have been the classic way to say 'Hello!' to friends and family - like a text message but more interesting! From its early days as simple printed cards in the late 19th century to today's more artistic and varied expressions, the postcard has remained a significant part of human communication.

Now the Illustrator Center invites you to a postcard pop-up at Formcenter Väst in Gothenburg, where we present 76 handmade greetings by 41 illustrators.Warm welcome!
