December 8th - Todays selfcare countdown to Christmas prompt is “Crafty Nights”

Another lovely Christmas memory was learning to knit and sew with my Danish Grandmother. Scandinavians love to make things. I always remember Danish relatives coming to visit us in Scotland and there would be bag of some knitting, sewing,crochet projects on the go.

I think from the age of four when I made my first cross stitch Danish flag felt needle case I was hooked on making things with textiles. I guess that’s why I ended up going to art college.
