An Easter day trip to Lund in Sweden - My tips for places to see and do.
I hope you had a lovely Easter Weekend. The sun appeared in Sweden and the weather was amazing over the weekend. I am hoping this could be the start of Spring.
My aunty came for a visit from Denmark. We had a wonderful trip showing her around the city of Lund.
Lund is a famous university town in the south of Sweden. it is about 10 minute train ride from Malmö.
I manage to do all my favourite things I like to do.
Go to book shops, @akademibokhandeln hang out in a beautiful stationery shop. @Lexispapper A Swedish version of Choosing keeping in London. You can guess I have a weakness for designer stationary and art supplies.
Eat at an amazing bakery Ramklints Konditori Eftr https://www.ramklints.se/ and go to the one of my favourite galleries in Sweden. @skissernasmuseum
The idea behind the museum is about showcasing sketches and ideas of famous artists.
It is not big but packed with so many interesting artworks. I love the steel draws that show case precious drawings and mini 3D sculptures.
It is like walking into a live sketchbook full of artists ideas.
I didn’t quite capture the vibrancy of the carpet of blue flowers that had sprung to life on the ground beneath our feet out side the museum.
Take look below photos of our Easter Day trip.
If you visit Sweden Lund should definitely be a place to put on your must see list.
Especially for it’s historical atmosphere shops and great places to eat.
